MOVEMENT. CONNECTION. REAL-LIFE SKILLS.

G.E.M. CLASS was created to reimagine how people learn, connect, and grow.

G.E.M. CLASS creates space where movement, connection and real-life learning come together - building skills that carry across subjects, settings, and everyday life.

OUR FOUNDER

A woman with long, flowing hair, smiling with an open mouth, outdoors with blurred buildings in the background.

Kisha Brown is a licensed educator, homeschool mom, and the founder of G.E.M. CLASS (Guide • Enrich • Move).

With nearly 20 years of experience working with children and families, Kisha began her career in the public school system, where she noticed many students struggled to stay engaged with traditional learning. She began turning those moments into movement-based games, helping learners better understand concepts while building confidence and connection.

Her approach is rooted in connection over correction, creating spaces where individuals feel seen, supported, and motivated from within.

She is a strong advocate for small group learning environments, believing they allow for deeper relationships, individualized support, and more meaningful growth.

As both an educator and a parent, she is passionate about helping kids and families grow together through movement, play, and real-life experiences that feel engaging, empowering, and authentic.

who we serve

  • Children, primarily ages 5 to 12

  • Homeschool and alternative education families

  • Families seeking connection and community

  • Educators, coaches, and organizations

We also offer experiences that include younger children, teens, parents, and families depending on the program or workshop.

Our work is rooted in connection before correction and the belief that learning happens beyond a desk.

    Connection Before Correction

We build trust first so learners feel safe, supported, and ready to engage.

  • Children playing a sack race outdoors on grass in a wooded area.

    Movement as the Foundation

We use movement to support focus, regulation, and deeper learning by engaging the whole brain and body.

  • Child's hand reaching to place a rock on a white sheet surrounded by various larger rocks decorated with small red and blue beads, markers of different colors, a crumpled tissue, a coloring sheet with outdoor scenes, and watercolor paints in a plastic case on a wooden table.

    Whole Learner Focus

Our approach supports the full development of each learner, including critical thinking, creativity, social skills, and emotional growth.

    Learners Help Shape the Experience

From activities to themes, learners have a voice, building ownership, confidence, and leadership.

G.E.M. CLASS creates space for that kind of growth, supporting confidence, social-emotional development, executive functioning, and meaningful interaction in a way that feels natural and engaging.
