This program is created by G.E.M. Class and hosted at:
📍 Community spaces in Dripping Springs, Bee Cave, and the surrounding Austin Hill Country in Texas.
WHAT WE DO:
Movement games (teamwork, coordination, strategy)
Logic challenges (problem-solving, critical thinking)
Real-world skills (communication, leadership, teamwork)
Community Guests
Community members share their “superpowers” (ex: artists, entrepreneurs, drone pilots, strategy/game experts).
Built with Kids
Learners help shape each month’s activities, so every month is different and driven by their interests.
Special Focus
Through including ages 11-12, it will help build and shape our upcoming teen enrichment experience. Community Guests

Brent
A lifelong learner at heart, Brent brings a passion for growth shaped by years of studying strategy games like chess, creative writing, strength sports, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Across every discipline, the same core habits rise to the top: patience, resilience, and deliberate practice. His sessions meet students where they are while gently challenging them to think deeper, plan smarter, and stay steady when things get tough. Through logic and strategy-based games, students build focus, flexible thinking, and confidence, discovering that real growth comes from patience and intentional effort.

Sister Stitches
We’re excited to welcome Sister Stitches, two homeschooled sister entrepreneurs bringing the art of crocheting to EXPLORIUM! For the past three years, they’ve been sharing their craft in community spaces, demonstrating how fiber arts nurture focus, calm, creativity, and meaningful connection.

No. Explorium is not a school and is not intended to replace homeschooling at home. Families remain responsible for their child’s homeschool education. Explorium provides a supportive community where children can explore interests, build friendships, move their bodies, and participate in enriching hands-on experiences.
-
Learning naturally happens throughout our experiences. Reading, writing, communication, math, science, creativity, critical thinking, and life skills are often woven into projects, games, discussions, movement, and real-world experiences. However, Explorium does not follow a formal curriculum, assign grades, or provide academic instruction in the traditional school sense.
-
Mixed-age learning brings children of different ages together in a shared community. Younger children benefit from observing and interacting with older peers, while older children develop leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. This approach more closely reflects how learning happens in families, communities, and everyday life.
-
While we value mixed-age experiences, there are times when children may separate into smaller groups based on age, interests, developmental readiness, or the activity itself. Our anticipated breakout groups are generally:
• Ages 5-7
• Ages 8-12
• Ages 13 years (pilot group, based on interest and enrollment)
These groupings are flexible and may vary depending on enrollment, interests, and the nature of the activity.
Think of mixed-age activities as the things kids naturally do together in the real world: building forts, creating art, exploring nature, playing games, working on projects, sharing interests, and solving problems together. Some activities happen as one community, while others break into smaller age groups when appropriate.
-
Yes. We anticipate spending significant time outdoors whenever weather permits. Nature exploration, movement, outdoor games, and hands-on experiences are an important part of the Explorium experience. Indoor spaces will also be available for projects, discussions, and weather-related adjustments.
-
Explorium is connection-first, movement-based, and child-centered. We believe children learn best when they feel connected, engaged, curious, and supported. Rather than focusing on worksheets or rigid schedules, we prioritize relationships, hands-on experiences, movement, creativity, and real-world learning opportunities.
-
We’re currently gathering family feedback and finalizing details for our new location and schedule. Our plan is to host informal meet-and-greets in late August so families can connect, ask questions, and explore the space.
Our tentative Fall 2026 session will run for approximately 10 weeks, from the week of September 14 through the week of November 16. Families will have the option to participate one, two, or three days per week, depending on availability and final enrollment offerings.
Families who have expressed interest will receive updates regarding schedules, enrollment options, pricing, meet-and-greet opportunities, and location details as they become available.
